From current active Voigtländer VM lineup it's quite hard to pick any lenses that would be obvious candidates for discontinuation in the next year or two. If some lens gets a newly improved version, the old version would usually be discontinued first so this could happen even if the current version is popular enough. I think the lenses where they have multiple versions in production currently might be candidates for version reduction at some point.
- Color Skopar 28/2.8 Type I and Type II --> I would guess that Type I will be discontinued at some point and Type II would be kept for the long run (the most logical pairing for 28/2.8 Type I is 40/2.8 and that has been discontinued already and it seems that Type II has been more popular in Japan)
- I think 50/1.5 Nokton II could be a candidate for a new version replacement sometime in the next 1-2 years

Cosina made a surprising announcement today. Due to popular demand they will bring back these lenses that were discontinued in November 2025:
- ULTRON Vintage Line 28mm F2 Aspherical Type II (Black & Silver)
- ULTRON Vintage Line 35mm F2 Aspherical Type II (Black & Silver)
They will be available again from July 3rd.
