All these wonderful posts about Bosque have made me very nostalgic for that magical place . I have such wonderful memories of my first trip . Seeing the beauty, the glorious sunrises and sunsets and of course all the birds for the very first time captured by heart . I was blessed to be able to make a couple more trips .
Interesting thing about photography memories - I can view the pictures and experience the emotions , the moment and the experience as if it was yesterday.
They are all great in their unique way, but #5 is pretty dope. And #10 is the abstract wildlife style that I enjoy the most. Voted.
How did you manage ISO on #5? Looks like the birds are coasting, not flapping their wings, but I still assume you were at 1/500s or above, also at fairly tight aperture to get the DOF for all birds.
Is this a single exposure? The skill of getting the geese white without blowing out the moon is impressive.

Thanks for the kind words. This was taken years ago when I was shooting Olympus.
The settings were - 300mm f/4 1/800 ISO 2000. I probably under exposed and did the adjustments in post. The birds were far away , this is big crop.
Well these make me want to delete the post I just put up Your take on these well traveled places always stands out as unique Birdie. These are all just gorgeous !

An awesome set of images that tell a stunning story of what to expect at Bosque. I'm still wading through the thousands of images I came home with and will probably be at it for some time.
