What are some good lower priced options for on-camera monitors? I’m not looking for anything fancy because I’m just starting out with video. If I continue, I’ll get an Atomos or Hollyland with internal recording.
I see lots of options on Amazon up to $150. Which ones should I avoid and which ones are decent?
Also, does anyone use the Monitor+ app? That’s another consideration but I’d be around $50 for a phone mount and full version of the app (A7III so the Monitor & Control app doesn’t work). Might as well just get a monitor at that point unless the app actually works super good. Thanks!
I got one of these earlier this year. It's not a fancy one and doesn't record or anything like the Atomos units, but it has a great screen - is very bright, and comes with the battery, cables and sunshade. It's been really good and much better than looking at a tiny screen.
