I'm trying to trigger a remote camera using a Sony A9iii attached to the hot shoe when I press the shutter.

The only way I've been able to get this to work is by changing the setting "Sync Terminal" to "Always".

According to Sony, this slows the continuous shooting and the display quality of the viewfinder.

I'd prefer another solution if possible that doesn't have these downsides.

Any ideas?

I have the Sony A1 and I�ve always used the multi-port connector to trigger using PocketWizard.
