I visited the Sacramento NWR (northern California) yesterday and, while some thick fog came and went, I was able to spend a little time with a decent variety of birds. Here's a few of my favorites, thanks for looking.

looks like your time was well spent with a variety of subjects. the rf 800 f11 delivered some good pictures. they have me longing for spring and warmer weather.
I would be going back to this place on a regular basis Mark! What a great variety and good use of light and fog on your part. Loving the Stilt on the run!!

Thank you Karl! Sac NWR is about 90 minutes from my house, so I usually go about once per month during the winter when the migrating birds are there. I have a couple of closer places that I go to more frequently, but they have no eagles. Once the migrating birds go back north (late March'ish), most of the water goes away and there's not many birds there until the next autumn.
