Excellent captures, Morris.
It would be interesting to see his wings extended.
I'm no duck expert, but he looks pretty unique to me -- some kind of hybrid.

Nice shots with good color and detail, Morris.
I'm also no duck expert, but I think Mallards and Wigeons commonly mix, and that body color kinda reminds me of a male Wigeon.

Thank you Greg. Apparently it's an escaped Domestic Mallard. My research shows they were bread for this look, possibly with Hooded Merganser.

Thank you Chris. It's an escaped Domestic Mallard. They were bread for this look. Researching what ducks have a white breast the Hooded Merganser seems to be the candidate to provide that trate.

Thank you Boyan. I found the same when I searched for ducks with white Brest.

It's common for you yet if you look through the responses you will see that many of us have never seen a Domestic Mallard before.

I think the female in #4 is giving him the side eye for similar reasons, wondering where he is in the family tree, heh heh.
Nice catch Morris.

It is a cross between a Mallard and a domestic Duclair Duck which is just a domestic French Duck.
