This Song Sparrow was on the snow covered ground in an area where other birds had knocked seeds down from some above. I enjoyed the ability to isolate my subject in a field of white by getting down low.
I love isolation morris! You did a fantastic job here!
The 8-10" of snow and ice we got last weekend is still here and not melting! The birds are starving and I have a male Blue jay..calling to me to spread seed and water.
Problem with the water is that it freezes within 10-15 minutes!
Again SUPER morris!

Thank you Dan,
We still have about half a foot of snow on the ground and yesterday was the first nice day in two weeks with temperatures around freezing.

Nice low angle for the separation, Morris. They're all good, I'd maybe pick #4 as a slight favorite.

Thank you Mark

These are all excellent Morris. Nicely done.
Today is the 1st day we have had temps above 25F for almost a month! A "heat spell" at 35F!! Snow is not melting due to the cold and the snow also has about a 2' crust of ice that must be penetrated by the sun's rays before any melting is done. The crust is so hard one can walk on top of the 10 inches of snow without collapsing!
Thanks morris!
