Her using the Sigma 17-40 on the X-T5 had to a stress on her little hands, can be a little front heavy that combo, but good on her if she didn't complain.

I actually hadn't even thought of that - It's such a surprisingly lightweight lens.
I'm happy to report she has no issues with it Or at least, hasn't shared any issues with me. She carried it for 4 miles on that day and then the next day after that we went to the Zoo and walked around for almost another 4 miles.
Nice images, and good for you to share a photography journey with her. Hopefully it will ignite a life long love for photography, both with you and on her own as she gets older.

She loves doing it. I have 2 other kids and they're less interested but she is really soaking it up. I'm having her learn on the XT5 since it has manual dials for everything - she can slowly start learning the settings. Last night she told me she needs her own tripod, hah
Bruce, it is very heartening that she likes it and interested in photography. We need the next generation of photographers with actual cameras in their hands. Hope she keeps continuing.
Sreedhar.

Get her a tripod. Someone WANTS a tripod? Get them a tripod. Get them to use it. Manual settings and a tripod and you have a winner there...
I have an older MeFoto travel one somewhere I think. Flips around and folds up small. If I could find it, I could send it. I'll pay to ship it. But yeah, she needs a tripod.

I appreciate the offer! I do have a few tripods though, so I've already told her that can use one the next time we go out on our next "photo date".
