These photos were taken at Oakland Lake at the beginning of the warm up. There is almost no snow left on the ground here in NYC yet this is about to change dramatically.

The head turn of the Bluejay is a great example of why I love to shoot at 40 FPS as I catch many variations and can chose moments like this.
