I’m surprised that a Canon shooter would allow photos to be taken with a Nikon! (just kidding)

Personal preference, but I prefer the color versions. They’re warmer and more “approachable”. I would soften up the b&w versions (less contrast). Her face and hair are too dark for me.
Overall, great poses and composition!

The camera certainly looks more like a prop here than a featured tool, but I suppose that was her wish.

Agree with Story_teller on the B&W ones. Not my favorite either, her face seems a stop too dark, not the you asked. But since you didn't ask, I like the 2nd one over all others, but I crop it in a bit to get the black box thing on the left edge out.

And who has a strap that doesn't use a strap?

I’m with you on that. When I shot the photo, it was in the Monochrome preset on the Zf which looked nice but Photoshop doesn’t keep the Nikon Picture Profile look so it replaced it with what it thought was “close”

If you can, I would recommend getting something like Silver Efex (part of the Nik collection) or similar presets. You can cycle through until you find a B&W process that looks good for her photos.

Larry's comment is a very good one. I have had the Nik Collection since it's inception. Works very well.

I am enjoying both for different reasons.

I would think she would enjoy these "Double P"!

I have the Nik collection, but I was forced to stop using it. For some reason it would destroy all the shadows. Anything I did or tried wouldn’t fix it. And it sucks because I really liked using it

Well I have had multiple "issues" with the Nik platform since DXO took over.
Sorry you had issues.

When Nik sold itself to Google, they kept the phone Nik's Tech Support so any issues were quickly remedied. DXO fired Niks TS and have their own .DXO's TS is crap imho. Email ONLY!

Keep using it until it "dies".

In addition, the old Nik had a plug in called "Focal Perspective(?). It was thee best for correcting focal distortions. If you still have that..KEEP IT!

You'll get a better offer from them instead of full price.

Yes I just watched a YT video on the ver 9 upgrade. I am NOT a big fan of AI BUT I have found it very useful in photo editing.
Probably will upgrade at some point soon.

I went to "build/buy" a new computer and tariffs have added $2000 to last quoted price. I will wait a bit "double P". For the computer that is...
Thanks again!

I moved from my Windows build which like 30" from corner to corner. I had basically the best hardware from 3-years ago when I built it.. but I was sick of the size, and I kept having issues with Adobe with GPU errors and slow Davinci processing/rendering. I did all I could to resolve the issue but even from a performance standpoint I wasn't happy, even with an RTX card and 32GB memory. I saw the Mac Mini M4 Pro, took the plunge. I was able to render 6K RAW in less than half the time vs my previous Windows computer.... for a computer the size of my hand. I was able to scroll through 6K R3D footage in Davinci without hiccups.

I am happy you are working "upwards"!
I am not tech saavy, I grew up in the age of vacuum tubes and crystal radios, so I have my "dreams" realized by Puget Systems and they have done me VERY well. They have the greatest TechSupport and are there when I need them and I have NOT needed them at all.
They screen-share and resolve any issues that arrive. Non intrusive 100%.

Glad you are up and working!

Are you strictly sticking to Windows?
