Building on the post from Jose (also in Ontario), here are some GGO photos from my neck of the woods, doing neck exercises (similar to what my physiotherapist has me doing!). It's great when the subject appears completely unperturbed by our presence. It was hunting all around us and often landed on perches too close for me to get it entirely within the frame. No baiting here.
In the third image, I think the owl is warning another nearby GGO. Apparently they were fighting yesterday. Or maybe they are a couple arguing.
These are awesome Richard. The last shot is beautiful.
The high ISO capability these days is simply amazing. I remember in the film days when ASA 3200 was considered extreme - Ha!
As for the neck exercises, I don't do them much because when I do I hear something that sounds like a car slowly rolling down a gravel road.
