Thank you Dan! I got lucky with two great mornings at the Overlook - one with fog and the other with high clouds that contributed to a nice sunrise conditions...

Jacob, absolutely stunning set! The sunrise images from Moonscape Overlook are incredible. I love the one with fog. Thanks for the inspiration. Does getting to Moonscape overlook require a 4WD vehicle?

Thank you for your kind remarks CA_Fstop! These are my favorites also...You really don't need the 4WD function although the added clearance does help. There are some rough patches along the way but they can be cleared in a sedan with careful and slow driving. You are likely to be driving in the dark to be on location by the sunrise :-)
Although if you go the rental car route, the rental companies accumulated so many SUVs that their price these days is lower than that of a simple sedan. I always pick an SUV in my travels but only once had to use the 4 WD function...

Wow, such a great set! I kept trying to pick favourites, and I realised I was picking over three quarters of the shots, so I'm giving up, they're all excellent.

Those are incredible - love the Moonscape Overlook shots. Utah�s badlands never disappoint, and you really nailed the scale and texture on these.

Thank you for your nice comments SensorStack! Yes, the Overlook was quite impressive; I spent many hours there over two days - one with the early morning fog and the other with a spectacular sunrise...I miss it already...It is a place you want to return to :-)

Thanks for commenting on these Ross! This helps me quite a bit. The curve in #8 caught my attention also the moment I saw it.
So was the light in #2, but that one took some editing (which I enjoyed).
The view in #1 was a challenge; I am still not very happy with it. The sky seems to be OK, so are the buttes; but the midground does not quite look the way I remember it; perhaps I should make another attempt to re-edit it...

What a stunning set.....the mooonscape overlook images are special. Now you have really inspired me to get out there. IDK why I can't vote....but definitely a FTW worthy set.
