As a long time Canon shooter, I think the lens situation since the RF switch is a disaster, and embarrassing.
Many here have had the interest and funds to switch and or shoot multiple platforms. I'm not that guy, and just want to shoot Canon. But I'd REALLY like to be able to shoot good 3rd party glass as well, and NOT have to spend 2x-3x for an RF what I paid for the EF version.
So that's my take on the slowed down interest in Canon.
As for the 5D4, it's provided me with some of the best images I've ever taken. It's is amazing with the EF 500mm II
