I have a review copy in hand and will be starting a review of the new Light Lens Lab 75mm f/1.5 Z21 shortly. Here are some of the key features highlighted by Light Lens Lab:
Light Lens Lab Z21 Key Features
Independent Optical Design
Developed entirely in house through Light Lens Labs own research and design process. Rather than recreating an existing formula, the goal was to establish a unique rendering signature for the Z21 series.
Signature Z21 Rendering
Designed with an emphasis on the subjective qualities of image rendering, including atmosphere, depth, transitions, and overall optical character, rather than focusing solely on conventional performance metrics.
Enhanced Optical Performance
Improved corner sharpness, stronger edge performance, and better sensor coverage compared to previous designs.
Lanthanide Infused Optical Elements
Incorporates the same proprietary lanthanide infused glass element used in the 50mm f/1.5 Z21. These elements are developed and manufactured entirely in house.
Fully In House Production
Designed, manufactured, and hand assembled by Light Lens Lab, allowing complete control over the development and production process.
