Recently got hold of the newish Sony 100mm f2.8 Macro lens. Macro as many will know can be quite hard and at times quite frustrating to get right. I have to say so far this lens has been a delight to use over purely manual lenses. The manual clutch is excellent and its actually really fun to use.
I have just started to get my head around stacking and thought I would try it on a couple of coins to see how well it faired.
1. This one is a pound coin taken with the 1.4x teleconverter on there
2. This next one is of the other side of the coin using the 2x teleconverter
So far I am loving the sharpness and details and the autofocus even though its only used now and again. I was given this coin earlier today as change. You don't notice the rubbish on them until you are looking this close !!
