Sheila - for shame, you've been around for a long time now, and you know that you can't leave your watermark on an entry!!! Better check the size too - it's a little small....

You're right, Mike. Its been awhile since I posted an assignment. All done!
Beautiful shot! Welcome back to the MA...I always look forward to your entries. That amazing sunset shot you took quite a while ago...I thought of often when I was in OZ in August. Saw similar shots, but was driving from Sydney to Jiggi, and didn't have time to stop. Good luck with this one...looks super.

You have ALWAYS got time to stop My long suffering husband, bless him, is now used to my "STOP!" when I see a good shot!
Not always...nine people in two cars trying to cover 900km in one day wouldn't allow it. There were bush fires, and my wife is from OZ...so If I stopped and she didn't I'd be lost. There is this one scene burned into my memory though. We were near McGrath when we saw three wild Emu's running across a field near a sugar cane field...smoke was thick, and a golden early morning light was dramatically lighting the scene. I did shoot over 40GB of images though...still haven't made my way through them all...landscapes, people, nature, animals galore...more than 35 bird species alone. Gonna have to win the lottery to go back again, but I really want to go again.
I know what you mean, 1 of 9! A couple of years ago, I was following my husband (he on his motorbike, me in my car) to Phillip Island to watch the MotoGP. I looked to my right and saw a field of blue flowers with an old shack in the middle of the paddock. Big decision. Stop and take snap and lose my husband or continue on. I didn't stop but rue the day that I didn't! That's why I now stop (and take the consequences!)
Yes, Bill, it is the flood filter. I am having such a lot of fun with it, especially with animal at zoo shots which were somewhat mediocre but the filter certainly enhanced the image. Some shots using the filter here http://www.pbase.com/sheila/flood_filter
For those interested, it can be obtained from Flaming Pear (do a Google).
Hello Sheila,
Great to see some of your work again....and as always, it is brilliant. This just jumps off the screen. It doesn't need a watermark. We know it's a Sheila.
