Thank you so much for your kind comments...you should have seen me toting a laundry basket to the neighbors to steal their leaves! I shot this in my studio...had quite the mess to clean up afterwards.
Simply spectacular. You have a lot to be Thankful for! Two stunning kids, striking composition, strong eye contact, perfect lighting, super leaves & color and attire. Great interpretation of the theme opposites. Good luck this week.
Your kids are beautiful and you have done a great job of capturing them in what looks like a very happy moment. I also think the leaves make an excellent background. The choice of black and white for his shirt and her sweater is also very nice as it emphasized the opposite theme, but it also imposes pretty high dynamic range in the shot. By and large you have done a nice job of capturing this dynamic range, but if possible I would like to see a little more detail in your son's shirt. Nonetheless an excellent shot overall. That amazing Nikon color is to die for...wonderful image Terri! Perfect toning, and the highlights held. I expect you will do well in the voting..I just didn't get the opposites tie-in. Congratulations!
