This is Shiva cactus near Tucson, it is very old, more than 100, and it is exceptional with 80+ arms, thought to be a growth hormone mutation issue. Captured with a Leica M3, a Light Lens Lab 35mm 8 element, and Kodacolor 200 film is bright Tucson light. There is more information on Shiva cactus on line.
He's scowly in the indoor shots, but I like seeing all the vacuum cleaners, and the pose in the third shot is more interesting. And the scowl is good, actually...for some reason it reminds me of those old Frank Perdue ads: "it takes a tough man to make a tender chicken."

I like #1 the best, but I would image it differently. I would recover more highlights, and lessen the vignette so the background would show more.
Thanks. This is the one that I was originally leaning towards. If only he had a wrench in his hand or something. Oh well, I learn something with every shot. I’ll try raising the shadows and lowering the highlights on it.
This is a common Tulip tree I planted about thirty years ago. It's the first thing that I see coming out of my bedroom. Shot this last fall Nikon N90S with the manual focus Nikkor 16mm f3.5 ai fisheye - Cinestill 50D
