As a devoted user of Cinestill DF96 Monobath, the problem with using it with tabular grained films like Delta, Neopan or Acros is it requires double the dev time in order to clear the base layer. If you don't do that the result will be a foggy image.
My concern is would that more rapidly diminish monobath's efficacy? Hmm.
Here is an example of me forgetting to do that with Delta 400 (using a Lomo LC-A 120).
My dearly departed pup Peppers, back in 2020. You can see the haze in the bottom left and right sides where the base layer had not fully cleared. I really cranked on the contrast to cut through it for this image.
My uncle is an avid photographer and fellow Nikon fan (Nikon Z 7II slung over his shoulder). 😁 I took a photo of him with my Nikon at Two Jack Lake, Banff National Park, Alberta.
Nikon FM2n, AI Nikkor 50mm f/1.8S, Ultrafine eXtreme 400, developed in LegacyPro L110 at 1:31 for 5.5 minutes.

@helimat@, hard to miss The Chief! Have you flown a helicopter up there?
Yes, I've flown all over that area! Prior to getting a job with the government & moving back to Vancouver Island, I worked for an operator based out of Whistler, which had bases throughout the Sea to Sky Corridor including Squamish. I even had to do an engine change on a helicopter on the backside of the Chief once. Plus I drove by it a million times on my way to Vancouver!

Really nice.. also the stories alongside it.. but really a nice vibe in this one.
Would love to see more helicopter shots!
I always hate them when they fly overhead here in the city (they're quite low usually, and thus super loud) yet I love looking at the things and watch them land and take off 💁♂️
