It reminds me of the story of how Hungarians are tired of seeing the plains (puszta), so they vacation in Switzerland so they can see the mountains, while the Swiss are tired of seeing the mountains so they vacation in Hungary so they can see the plains.
Funny story: yesterday, I was at a food cart pod eating lunch, and guy walks up and says: "hey, you look like you could be Canadian or perhaps someone in your recent family was!" At any rate, he was just trying to spread the 'good news' about Canada's somewhat liberal repatriation/citizenship pathway for people that can prove that someone in their family tree was Canadian. It was nice, but weird. I think I felt flattered.
I need to get my kids citizenship, but sounds like the wait might be longer than expected.

Thank you for the kind words! I don't necessarily disagree, but having come all the way from California, I was hoping for some slightly better conditions. But so it goes...
I agree with @theHUN — that captures the atmosphere there very nicely.
(And, although the mountains are on a slightly different scale, that looks very familiar to those of us who spend much of their time in the Scottish Highlands ….)
