Nice product placement. Maybe Leica will replace your film scratcher if they can use Riley in an ad. "Dogs that know use Leica" Is Riley pointing to where Timmy fell into the well?
I just shot my first roll of Cinestill 400D. Absolutely love it - super fine grain, shoots great at box speed, no colour issues scanning/converting with NLP (so far..), still has cool halations.
This Cinestill looks great. The beach mats photo seemed to have fairly muted colours, but that may simply be because the colours in the scene were fairly muted. But the colours in this one are gorgeous.
It would not, of course, have been possible without the M7.

It's a great set up! I bought some Flic Film Aurora 400 when I was up in The Motherland last summer. Maybe I need to put a roll through this summer.
I forgot that you’re Canadian!
Funny story: yesterday, I was at a food cart pod eating lunch, and guy walks up and says: "hey, you look like you could be Canadian or perhaps someone in your recent family was!" At any rate, he was just trying to spread the 'good news' about Canada's somewhat liberal repatriation/citizenship pathway for people that can prove that someone in their family tree was Canadian. It was nice, but weird. I think I felt flattered.

Canada has become so overwhelmed with citizenship requests that they can't provide estimates for processing time anymore. Same goes for getting official versions of birth certificates and other ancestral records; I've been helping a friend in the US with her request and it sounds like it's going to be a long wait.

I always assume that someone is flattering.
It makes life so much more pleasant for me. And infuriating for others.
Went to the opening night of "Brigadoon" at the Pasadena Playhouse. Gorgeous venu. Took this just before they said 'no photography allowed' and raised the curtain.

I am just imagining the SNL sketch "The Californians" as you list-off the many freeways you drove on to make it all the way to Pasadena.
EDIT: so, it turns out it's only two freeways, BUT still!
Wut do yoooooo meeeeeeeen? Brah, you take PCH to Aviation to Rosecrans to 405 north, east on 110, east on 134, get off on Coloraaaaahdo, hang a right on Molinoooh make sure to pick up some tasty snacks at Aikan Soooooshi and Raaaahmen.
By chance I was close to Seawood Photo on Friday. I picked up a 105mm 2.5 to pair with an F2 (neighbor gifted). I took it for a spin at Stanford, while my wife and daughter waiting for BTS merch Saturday morning. The pageantry was off the charts, but it would have been a little cringe to capture, so I focused mostly on trees. I liked this salty guy at Peets though. Shot on FP4+ dev'd on XTOL.
