I love this portrait. Great use of a shallow DOF. Pleasing composition.
I only wish we could see even just a bit of his eyes.

Thanks Carol, I really appreciate! actually I get really close to him and was not able to see the eyes, just two very narrow apertures...

For lack of a better word, this shot has so much character. His hair on his scalp, the wiry beard, the lines on his forehead and details of his face. I like images of elders...so many stories, so much depth to their lives.
