We just got home to Parma from a lovely 4 day mini vacation in Prague. Incredibly crowded in the heavy tourist areas, but outside those areas it is an amazing city.
The weather was great for our visit ranging from light rain to perfection. I shot my M6/28mm Screw Mount with Ilford HP5+ 400 and, my M11 with 50mm Summilux.
AS always I shot a wide variety of subjects. Here are some images from the M11 with the 50mm Summilux to give you all a flavor of the visit.
Last week a group of historical re-enactment people from around the World did a Parma meetup. They dressed in costumes from the period when Parma was the Dutchy of Napoleon's Wife Maria Luigia (1811-1847). I found some in our Duomo. I asked the Duomo care taker for permission to photograph a couple in one of the ancient confessionals. I was both surprised and pleased when he said yes. Since it was pitch dark inside the confessional, I had the man hold up his cell phone behind the curtain to light his face.
Now that all the equipment needed to process and scan my B&W film is finally assembled I have started a thread on the "Film is not Dead" forum. I don't want to distract rom this forum so anyone interested can follow it there:
