I had the F-mount version of this lens and always thought it was a very sharp and underrated optic. I ended up getting rid of it because the focal length was not very useful for me. But now on the OM-1 the 200-800 FL is perfect for my uses and the short MFD makes it extremely versatile.

Thanks! I am a pilot so that helps, a great view out the front. These are all handheld so the Olympus IBIS does the majority of the work. Smooth air also helped. The Laowa 10/2 is a decent lens but to sharpen up it really should be stopped down. Had I known about this event in advance, I would have brought my Voigtlander 10.5 or 17.5 f.95 lenses. Since they start at f.95, stopping down one or two stops sharpens them up nicely and MF helps.
