Glad to see Ronny doing birds recently. My 150-400 just arrived today and wouldn't you know it. Another rainy day in Phoenix. I did manage to find a Black-tailed Gnatcatcher yesterday with a borrowed 150-600.

These are part of a day in the life photo essay I did about a student at the university where I work. She's an Olympic skater from Austria studying here in NJ.
Hadn't picked up a camera in nearly two months so just dabbling trying to find some motivation other than buying a new camera (actually too late on that but it won't be here for a few weeks).

t's nice to see someone using that 50-200. It's one of those lenses I've looked into quite a bit but see very little posted from it. Seems to be a very good value on the used market.
Nice work !!

The PL 50-200 is mostly overlooked for some reason. It’s a wonderful combination of small size and huge image quality. AF works great, even for skating, which I had never shot before in my life before this assignment.

When you look out on the balcony right now.. well, there you are, whom I only hear and never see 😃
Iso 20000 shot through the glass of the balcony door and pitch black outside
Not exactly a great picture, but a documentation picture at least.
