It has been a while since I have used a camera and even longer since I have posted anything.
Had a 9am dental check-up in town so arrived early to take a few IR images given the totally cloudless sky.
D610 IR and 28/2.8 AI-S
Notice how differently the sky renders in IR relative to the position of the low rising sun.
There are the springtime IR images from Colin we have been waiting for
Nice!

Request opinions:
Have a D3, D800, D810 now hardly used but in great shape so I will keep them, not worth the sell price.
My daily camera is a well used Z6, still in good shape and an occasionally used Z7. For stills these two are as good as any, me thinks.
The Z6 is so old I should take advantage of the current promotions and get a Z6III or a Z7II? or a Z8? Price is not a consideration but value for the $ is.
I have a nearly mint copy and took it for a stroll at home, the lens on the left, on the right is the 7.5mm 1:5.6 that replaced it with a smaller circle as the 8mm used the entire frame to the edge and the image would get cut off.
These are fixed focus lenses, no helicoid, on SLRs you must lift the mirror to mount as their rear elements are far back into the camera, but on mirrorless they can be mounted on a focusing adapter and the focus can be adjusted nicely.
I have not used this 8mm much and was very surprised by its sharpness at 1:8, you can see my photos full size at Flckr.
This is an arizona walnut planted 22 years ago, it is at the right side of the photo above. I garden mostly palms and trees that require little watering. It is a big tree, everything looks small with the fisheyes.
