my first pictures sent to this forum. All made with A7r & Zeiss Sonnar 35/2.8 ZA
Welcome to Fred Miranda forums Pascal! I've been enjoying via my RSS/Atom feed the Dear Susan blog for some time and am looking forward to seeing more from you and your A7r.
That isn't really a corner crop though, the corners themselves are quite dark and smudgy, even on other FF cameras... I have heard the 19 Elmarit-R II described as a 20mm lens with 19mm angle of view
Thanks a lot for the welcome Michael, that's very kind of you. There will be plenty more articles on the A7r on Dear Susan over the coming weeks. Talk soon I hope. Pascal
Great to see you here, Pascal. I've had Dear Susan on my RRS feed for about a year now and have appreciated your real-world approach and also your photos, some of which have been exceptional. Keep up the good work!

50 Lux wide open on my helicoid adapter. Sorry, but I don't see any problems, this is my typical workflow,
looks great IMO. Sure, it vignettes like it does on any M camera. But the clarity and contrast is there, I like it
Andrew, 50 'Lux on my A7R is giving me grief in the extreme corners unless stopped down to at least f:4.0, and not really good even at f:5.6. I tried both a Novoflex and a Hawks' adapter. Do you have any shots where you can show better corner sharpness than that?
And, in order to participate, one shot with the Sony-Zeiss 35, JPEG out-of-camera.
