USMC F-35B Lightning II Demo at MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina this past Sunday. Always amazed watching this bird hovering in the air.
Douglas - These are amazing. I'm fascinated by your ability to capture such images. Steve

Thank you very much Steve! I have been to over 100 airshows. For the show at MCAS Cherry Point last Sunday, I drove 750 miles in one day, all by myself. Lots of energy drinks and gas were consumed. Of all the different stuff I shoot as a hobbyist, I would say this where my passion lies, not birds, not landscape, not travel.
Some shots of the USMC AV-8B Harrier II demo last Sunday. Cross posted in the 400-800mm lens image thread. It was supposedly their last demo. They are being replaced by the F-35B.

Scott - Great shots of the canyons and desert bighorns! That hike must have been a real blast! Steve
I appreciate that Steve, thank you! The hike was a blast, and seeing the sheep made it really special. The rock was such an intense red in there. There were also these cool petroglyph panels in there as well which I enjoyed seeing.
