Badger is one of my favorite animals. I'm surprised to see one in my neighborhood in the Bay Area. I guess they have migrated here. We have an abundance of gophers. The pictures are not super high quality taken at 8:30 pm. It was already very dark. Second picture shows the badger juxtaposed with the highway. With shrinking habitat, more wild animals are now living amongst us.

Excellent images, all of them. Can you comment on your processing? I shoot with a Sony100-400 GM as well and the A7r4 camera. while I think my images are sharp and crisp, these here are, to my eyes, frankly in a all together different league than my images.
Yeah, I hear you. Having a rough idea of the edits made in post would be educational for a lot of people here. I can tell you that for mine, I dropped the highlights a little, brought up the shadows a bit, then adjusted the white balance to make things a little warmer than originally shot. I then tweak the levels a little bit to make things pop a little (usually the auto button in C1P).

I took a family trip out to Busch Gardens in Tampa this weekend and I'm glad I brought the 100-400 along with me. Here is a quick series at the cheetah exhibit where it chases a feather toy at full speed. This was shot on the A9 and I'm kicking myself because I accidently had the drive mode on continuous low because that's what I was using for family pics. I could have had some much better keepers but at least at 5fps I was able to get some usable shots.

Magnificent shot. Any post processing to enhance color and clarity? If so, can you post it. Best way to learn to create better images is to look at, and learn from others, who post and share their work, like this one.

Thanks !
Some common adjustments such as highlights, shadows and saturation and sharpness and nothing remarkable
I think the calibration tool is good for colors in both camera raw and lightroom

One more moon shot for the thread finally got to test out the 100-400 gm with 2x tc and while there is some fringing going in it is more than acceptable.
