Just checking how much I can crop these days. I know this possible with other high MP camera, lens combo too.

Remembering my first digital DSLR+Lens combo which was D70 and Sigma 500/4.5. I had to use heaviest tripod and ball head to get very sharp images at 500mm.

This hand held shot is cropped to 6MP which makes effective angle of view 2200mm!!

NIKON Z 8 and Z 800mm f/6.3 VR S @ 1/1600sec, f/6.3, ISO 400, 6MP(3000X2014), Effective FL 2200mm, Subject distance 14m

Just came back from Spiti Valley in India in the Himalaya range shooting snow leopards.

800PF with TCx2 and Z9 and some cropping.

You guys are able to use a great tool.

Yesterday I was able to hold (and mount to my camera) an 800PF, and what shall I say - incredible to have 800mm in such a maneuverable, flexible setup! I finaly passed (on the used, prime state, lens) as I think I cannot use it and do it justice. The more I enjoy watching what you all deliver from and with it!
