One thing not talked about much is super high ISO performance if the Z9/8 sensor. Now that I've been working with the files for a bit, I have to say I am pretty impressed, even more so than I was with the Z7ii files which I felt were quite good. While Z8/9 may give up ⅓ stop DR, it appears to me on the usable--or rather extractable--detail front, it is a clear winner; the files can be pushed around quite a bit. The other small point is the way it retains its color-palette at high ISO. I respect this is a controversial opinion, but it's what I see and get -- respect YMMV.
as far as high ISO, actually, i don't talk about it much but i sure to shoot quite a few. use it a lot in my work the people i work for like my stuff

just for reference: note the glass windows in the building. what may seem like an artifactual effect is actually safety wire built in to prevent shattering of said glass in case of earthquakes. having been through a few "tremors" there i have an appreciation for their ever trying to improve engineering.

These last two are stitched panoramas, sometimes a kayak gets you too close and a zoom is a better option.
1, 2 and 3 are gorgeous. Beautiful lighting, and everything else.
