I preordered one from a favorite shop in the PNW, another from an east coast retailer, and I’m 12th and 32nd on the list's at two local stores in Phoenix. One LCS told me they ordered 16 units and received 4 with no idea when they’ll get more. It’s a Fuji frenzy!
I pre-ordered from Best Buy roughly 6:00 PST on the 20th. After several confusing updates from Best Buy saying it would ship on the 28th, to it is on back order, to your order may be cancelled, I received a YOUR ITEM SHIPPED email! Per UPS tracking I should have it next week!
Based on what I've red just about everywhere I call myself "lucky".
I just hope FedEx didn't loose my shipment. Tracking hasn't moved for 36 hours, and a big yellow all caps "DELAYED" sign is slapped on it without any explanation. I was suppose to take delivery yesterday!
I actually Leica would make a 35mm variant of Q maybe even a fixed lens digital M. I still much prefer a full frame PS. The x100 is nice, but the image quality is so much better with a full frame 35 f2 vs a 24 f2 APSC. At this rate my X100VI probably won't come until the next full frame PS gets released.
Got mine today (black), setting it up after dinner. Plan going forward is to always have it out and about on my desk or a counter etc, use it an abuse it, and make memories. Feels just as solid as my X100F did, we will see if it can take as much abuse.
Curious about y'alls serial numbers. Mine is 4AA04xxx. Curious if the first 4 is the region and then it's the 4000th unit for that region. Are the other US folks similar?
Also, I knew I would, but I hate the way the unparked IBIS clunks when it's off. Really hope they have a FW update to lock it on power off.

Man, my battery door is more scratched right out of the box than my V after two years of travel. Two long scratches almost like a key got taken to it. Crazy.

I have a silver VI coming tomorrow (Saturday 3/2). I pre-ordered from Bestbuy the night the VI was announced. I originally pre-ordered at B&H but I cancelled it after getting the Bestbuy order in because I had a strong feeling B&H would get insane numbers of orders and it would take weeks or months to actually get it from them. The Bestbuy pre-orders closed shortly after I ordered, so I think they only took as many as Fuji allocated for them, which I prefer compared to B&H who seems to be taking infinite pre-orders.
I placed a first day order from a local shop but didn't manage to get in on the first batch. Saw someone else trying to sell one above retail and mentioned they had bought from the same store. Pretty aggravating. Definitely won't pay over retail on principle.
I have a question for the guys who pre-ordered an X100VI from B&H, I pre-ordered one on 02/20/24 but mine has shown as back ordered. Does B&H have a system to let you know when they ship it to you?
Your order status will change to “new order” and a day or two later you’ll get a shipping notification.

The first 4 is the year (2024) and the first A is the quarter (A = first quarter) the second A is the region (A = USA)
There is also a code written into the EXIF that supposedly gives a more precise manufacture date.
