I am just waiting for the first review saying that the x100vi can make coffee on demand. This camera appears to be legendary. It is going to make everyone great photographers. No more bad pictures. What a beautiful gift Fuji gave us - or at least some of us. Looking for an X100VI? Got a dude in the Detroit area selling 14 of them at $2400 each. A lot of money, but miracles are priceless. Why shoot with a TC when there is a digital teleconverter in the X100VI? Anyway I'm glad to see more videos using the camera in photoshoots at various locations.
So my card was charged today for my X100VI. I called my local store since I had ordered for local pickup. They said it was just a reauthorization after one month.
But then 3 hours later I got a shipping notice. Not held for local pickup, but shipped. So I should have it tomorrow, but annoying that I should have had it tonight, and now I have to wait for delivery. Still, a month isn’t a bad wait for ordering 11 hours after preorders went live.
Mine's in hand. First impressions are all positive - IBIS seems to work very well, AF seems more sure than the V, etc. I might be going a little crazy, but it feels like they very slightly tweaked the shape of the front grip, such that the angle is slightly sharper, and it seems more sure in my hand. It may also be that after using my Nikon Zf extensively the last couple months has made it so that the lightweight X100 body feels just naturally easier to grasp.
One down side: for some reason, my add-on magnet to trip the sensor for the telephoto conversion lens won't trip the sensor in my X100VI. The one in my wide lens will, but not the telephoto. If I add a second tiny magnet, it'll trip it, but then the magnet is too deep, and interferes with the lens focusing. I'll have to work on this so I don't have to remember to manually flip the setting on.
In any case, just like the V, she's a looker. I'll have to wait until tomorrow to really put it to the test, though I might shoot just a little later this evening.

Yes- got a notice and mine shipped yesterday. 10:08pm PST confirmation of order- same time roughly as tmoseley above, but order processed a week-ish later.
If orders from first couple of hours are not yet shipped I wonder when my Feb 23rd 11:33 am order gets shipped 😀? Hope to hear others make compact fixed lens cameras with evf before mine gets shipped.

Yes Silver - Should have thought to mention that. I also did free 2 day shipping and created a Payboo card for the order (not sure if that delayed or expedited anything).
