I usually go to Ricketts Glen State Park twice in autumn, but this year I could only make it once. What was a wet spring, turned into a dry late summer and early autumn, and the foliage took a beating for it. I was a little late for the color, but I don't think the color was spectacular this year anyway.
And it was a Saturday, which tends to make the park super busy with tons of people hiking the trail. It started off cloudy and calm, but turned to sunny and breezy with some periods where clouds would bring back some shade, along with calmer winds.

Getting used to the GFX100s II on my trip to Tucson, AZ this week. All photos were taken using the GF 35-70 “kit” lens and given a cursory edit in Lightroom Mobile.

love that electric highway... great shot
how long was the exposure?
Thank you! The EXIF for the file says 14 seconds, but I actually combined a few exposures. One is the sky and the trees and one side of the road, another is the other side of the road to even out the light trails, and a third was just the building later on when the sun was about to disappear and the light was the warmest. Across the three it was 14 seconds, 25 seconds, and 30 seconds.

Not a lot of great autumn color around my neck of the woods, at least that I could find. Such a dry autumn, kind of go crazy with any decent color I find. Decided to not be conservative with the colors on these shots.
