Your JPEGs are looking really nice. I’ve also been shooting that Z 28/2.8 recently (SE version because I liked the cosmetics) and so far am enjoying it.
Not in love with the background rendering on the 2nd image, but it’s also a tricky background so many lenses would struggle. Also not crazy shallow DOF.
My guess is one of the new Viltrox f1.8 primes. Also not seeing LoCa so that would track.
Just jumped to Nikon wagon, from shooting just Fuji's for a while, after switching from Sony. Been using Fuji's as well for years and they were actually first mirrorless cameras I switched from Nikon DSLR's in 2015. Got the silver Zf. Oh man it's pretty. And fun.
Of course the first lens had to be my favourite lens of all time - Nokton 40mm f/1.2. I've shot with different versions of it over the years. First VM version adapted to Fuji, then adapted to Sony A7III. Then native mount for Sony and finally switched to SE version for Sony. Was my main lens for about five years. Once I switched to all-Fuji for a while, it was the single lens I missed over all. I tried different Fuji native Voigt's (not the 35/0.9 though), but they just didn't do it for me.
Now in addition to 40/1.2, I've been adapting my old collection of Pentax-M lenses, mainly 28mm f/2.8, 50mm f/1.4 and 85mm f/2. But I'm about to order a few more native lenses for Nikon as well. Got some idea what are the next lenses. Eventually I'm hoping to buy couple of native Voigtländers as well.
So what can I say... I'm really happy with the Zf so far. Loving it and the manual focus experience with it. Still a lot to learn, coming from Sony/Fuji. Although I kept the Fuji X-T30II, that my kids (especially daughter) loves to use.
New to the forum, so forgive me if asking in the wrong section. Is anyone using any aftermarket eye cups? I want to get something bigger for my ZF that does not impede the screen. Would love to hear what eyecups you guys use or recommend.
I got one of these for the LCD screens. If you want to shoot video, or just move it around different cameras, you can buy additional magnetic frames for it.
