Nice. Are you using a grip, Anitrone? How is the handling compared to the Df?
Siphiwe, not using a grip. Like the Df I am able to shoot using left hand to balance with the lens, same way I shoot with the Df.
The grip on the Df is more substantial, but so far, I do not mind not using a grip since I either wear the camera around my neck/shoulder with a strap. If I am holding it in my hand I carry it around by holding the lens.

Cool, thanks. Somehow, that doesn't make it easier to pass on it. 34% off here all the way to mid-December -> a long 50+ days of resistance. I like the thing. Worried about the ergonomics.

I have to say after just a short time handling the camera with the Mitakon, which is a hefty lens, I feel it's going to stay in my bag just as the Df has for 11 years. It's just such a joy to shoot with and the MF system is just wonderful.

Ani, congrats on the Zf! I think you will really enjoy it, I certainly do. I note the two Wolfen are still following you on your hikes
Beautiful shots!
Mary
Thanks Mary, yup the two Wolfen are my forever shadows! Loving the Zf no regrets!
I spent the vast majority of the weekend shooting with my new Q3 43, and have to admit, I’m a bit obsessed with the 43mm focal length at the moment. But I continue to take the Zf everywhere I go, specifically for when an opportunity for a wide shot arises. I like the way these turned out.
Nikon Zf + 26mm f/2.8 Z pancake lens (a very underrated lens in the Z-mount lineup, IMHO):
