Nice story Rudy!
The soundtrack was super, changing moods and bird sounds included. You really seem to have mastered the short information wildlife video format. It is always enjoyable to watch, and I feel I learn something from each of your offerings.
Keep them coming,
Dave
PS: Your video link works fine to YouTube, but it is not showing your video on this page. This happened to Rob a week ago or so.
Thanks for watching and for your comment. I haven't got a clue regarding how to fix this link issue. Hopefully it will just clear itself up... sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi Dave,
Rather than trying to mess around with why the video link doesn't work I just deleted the video from YouTube. I'll try again later when I have more time.

American Bullfrogs only lay eggs one or two times per year, and each time she lays about 12,000 to 20,000 eggs. The male is above the female and squeezes with his legs to assist her effort in laying the eggs. He externally fertilizes the eggs as she lays them. This video covers the start all the way to no more eggs being laid. I really knew very little about the Frogs until I witnessed this event. Did a lot of reading to learn afterward. Video captured at Ted Shanks Conservation Area in Pike County, MO on Aug 1, 2025.

Hi Dave,
Very interesting nature video although I must admit that I did skip ahead a few times trusting that I would be missing any key moments. Great video and audio quality on this one and thanks for putting the time researching and sharing the info with us.
Cheers,
Rudy

My first attempt at clog3. No luts.
CC more than welcome.
Tom,
This looks very good, and the sound is also very good.
Did you notice any big improvements in the quality of the video compared to regular in camera process mode?

A few things happened here. Thing one is I turned on zebras for the first time. I was struggling terribly with exposure and skin tones. Zebras helped tremendously. When I wasn’t it clog3 my face was horribly red. I think the in camera processing is a bad deal for skin tones. At least that’s what I’ve found anyway.
There wasn’t a huge jump in quality, but getting my face right was significantly easier.
As for sound, that piece wasn’t bad at all. I put a mic on my amp and recorded into my DAW. What you’re hearing is unedited sound. No post processing at all.
