I like the background! The smooth transition from the edge of the chairs in shadow to the bright, creamy colors in the sunshine. Very nice!

love the colors, they work well together
Thanks. I recently attended a workshop in Venice with Leica thathad color theory as a part of it. However, no colors were added or subtracted in this image. Just Lightroom tonality based color grading. Cool shadows and warm highlights.
This morning standing on the driveway with coffee waiting to see what the hazy sky and incoming weather will present for color. Lens of the day 0.95 Leica Noct, 11 EV1, F1.0 500 iso thought there might be even more color but the predawn had 1-2 minutes when the sky glowed.

I've got to believe that lens isn't the easiest to nail focus at f1, yet you pulled it off perfectly
Interesting point ... makes me wonder if the point of a rangefinder having a mechanically coupled / calibrated focusing device (i.e. to the patch) lends itself well to such challenging lenses ... vs. trying to decide focus by eye.
I've not had the opportunity to use such a fast lens, but it makes me wonder if I should. I'd be curious to compare the experience of f/1 via RF vs. all others. Although, it's not likely to happen anytime soon for me ... it still makes me ponder the experience.

There's lots of speculation that the M12 will be released later in 2026 and that it may have not only IBIS but also dual focusing systems - EV plus RF. If that becomes reality then I'll probably spring for one.

Honestly, this lens has been incredibly fun to shoot. I picked it up while my 50 Lux CF is back at Leica for service.
When I first got it, I thought I had a front-focusing lens, but it turned out my M11-P was out of alignment. I was able to correct it myself pretty quickly, and now it’s spot on.
The 50 .95 is also easier to focus than I expected. The focus ring may be the best I’ve used on a Leica lens. It has a shorter throw, but it feels almost perfect. That actually surprised me, because I never really gelled with the short focus throw on the 50 Lux pre-ASPH v3, even though I believe they’re both close to 90 degrees. At night- I did use the Visoflex 2- Loved it but only at night-
I took both the 50 Noct and the 35 Noct to Japan with me.
I love using the 35 Noct and I love the images it produces, but out of the 12 or so photos from the trip that I really love, 10 were taken with the 50 Noct. The 50 .95 really pulls you into the center of the frame and gives the subject a beautiful sense of draw.
All in all, shooting at .95 isn’t easy, but once I calibrated my M11-P, it’s been bang on for me. I’d highly recommend giving the lens a shot, especially since the entry/exit cost is pretty consistent.
