Do you guys think it would be possible that Nikon now after releasing new AF motor lens, would update all existing lens to mark II?
Like for example newer 24-120/4 lens - new AF motor, lighter, maybe even smaller a bit?
Eventually? Maybe. In the next 5 years? There's absolutely no reason for it. It's still better than the other 2 big versions.

Hard to know/speculate.
My two cents is that the next lens to receive this update will be the 70-200S. Any other large high dollar telephotos (prime or zoom) that release I'd expect to use SSVCM's also. It's not clear to me if they start slowly rolling those through the whole lineup or in certain lenses above certain price points. It doesn't seem impossible that we see a 24-120/4 II at some point, but I think that's still 3-4 years away at least. Then again, I'm not sure how many folks expected an update to the already fabulous 24-70/2.8S also. I personally wouldn't want the 24-120 to end up physically longer due to going IF either.
For now, no other manufacturer or lens matches what this one does, so my mantra is shoot it and buy it without regrets. It's still my favorite lens for my purposes for the Z system (not that I can try/buy them all) and I can't believe the performance that I get from just one lens. Easily the best value for the money of any I have ever purchased and right up there with results satisfaction also.

I have personally never had so much confidence that a single lens can do EVERYTHING I throw at it. It's wild. It has literally never let me down, through every type of condition you could subject it to.

I doubt it. A 24-120 F4 doesn't need it, the lens is already very fast, and it would drive up the cost.
A year or so ago when I had a Nikon body, this lens was almost impossible to get (always out of stock). Now it seems to be readily available, so I should get serious about buying a kit that includes it. I'd love the retro look of the Zf (especially in orange), but the Z5II is the same money if you order the lens separately (bundle discount). I wish they'd discount the Z5II the same $200 they're knocking off the Zf price.

This lens just got a potential upgrade thanks to the new 24-70 f2.8 II. LanceB reported that the new HB-117 hood petal size and depth is nearly identical and the new hood properly fits the 24-120 bayonet.
So the 24-120 can use the filter window and the locking hood.
