Maybe even better than a used lens for $950 here. It's been going in/out of stock to order. I ordered and a few weeks back while it was in stock and from everything I could tell it's the genuine US model. Mine arrived with 1 year warranty card, brand new with the correct SKU on the box.
Verona Park NJ. since this is all about the 24-120/4S i do believe I'm allowed to post some irrelevant images using the 24-120/4S just a little differently. yes, this is NJ.
Maiden outing for the 24-120. I took it along with my 500 PF as IO thought I'd take a couple of landscape snaps while I was birding. But stupid me forgot the FTZ adpater, so my 24-120 also ended up being my birding lens too on the Z9. Luckily a very friendly great egret decided to parallel me as I walked along the shore of the lake andhe got closer and closer, at one point only being about 3m away.
Lens is really good BTW, sharper than I had expected even into the corners.

BTW, Thomas Heaton in his last video expressed disappointment in this lens and has now replaced it with the 24-70/2.8.
Sure, the 2.8 is a wonderful thing but for what he shoots I doubt if there is much difference.
It does kind of make sense from a certain viewpoint though, coming from the GFX and also having it be his livelihood. If it was my main source of income I would be much more discerning with my gear and lean towards the 2.8, weight penalty included.
