Both below L&D 21 on Mississippi River in NE Missouri Mid December 2025.

Yes, it's a soothing little video, I love the down-home country-folk vibe of the music. I grew up in the Ottawa dairy farming countryside so I'm just a good old country boy at heart! When I grew up I used to love watching "Hee Haw" on TV (but I never let any of my cool city friends know that.

Panning video of over 100 Bald Eagles. These Eagles were gathered below Lock And Dam 21 on the Mississippi River, Mid-December 2025.
We were on the back end of an early hard freeze that drove them to the easy fishing below the dam.
Lower quality IQ than I like, but shows the numbers. R5 MKII RF200-800 at 800mm. 4k

Did a little footage this morning in some chilly temps. All the footage is handheld and of course my models were Kenzie and a clip of Rylee. I used the Canon RF 24-105 f2.8 Z lens.

Thanks Dave, the rocker built into the handle works very well for the zoom. I may slow it gown a bit still. Still playing around with it. Overall very happy with my first cinema camera.

Thanks Dave. This one required a bit of hiking. What I like is that I am using a V Mount battery now. I just keep the rig turned on the entire time. Plenty of power to capture the moment now. The top handle is very nice to hike with. Another benefit of the V mount is that it balances much nicer.

Immature Bald Eagles fishing. The first raptor gives up it's catch very easily when chased by an Adult Bald Eagle. The second catches its fish, then turns and flies back, showing off its catch to the many Eagles below on the icy Mississippi River. Taken mid-December, 2025 below L&D 21 in NE Missouri.
