A little more on this. I could give an overall number, but I'd rather give context.
I usually carry four lenses for landscape photography, all zooms. I often add one other that can work on a TS adapter.
For wildlife photography I usually rely on a single lens, or if I'm using both of my systems together I use one for each. (These are lenses that overlap with my landscape lenses.)
If shooting macro, I might use one — though I own two, one for each of my two systems.
For most street and travel photography I use three — and they don't overlap with any of those mentioned above.
I have three other primes, typically sued for low light photography, though one is also a portrait lens.

At least when I purchased the last three lenses, I sold three other ones to help justify the cost. Currently, the least used is the Sony 28-60 which does not seem to have a lot of resale value and the Tamron 20-40 and Sony 50G. While I like the Tamron the Sony 20-70F4 gets a lot of use. Someday in the future will most likely be a Sony 35 GM and a faster medium zoom for the grandkids indoor or night time sports when they get to high school, and of course that is if they play any sports.
This questions shows that for many owning a high end camera is a journey with many experiences along the way. I have owned many cameras and lenses but I always sell my old gear when i get a new camera/lens. So I have a a1 ii and 4 lenses. The sony 12-24 f4 g, the sony 20-70 f4 G (great lens especially for the weight), Sony 70-200 f4 g ii, sony 300mm f2.8 GM (great for international traveling / birding) and the 600 f4 GM (great for domestic traveling / birding). Enjoy!
I would not know, but somewhere on the higher side between 2-3 dozens. I believe that they all focus, except a couple that have shift or tilt-shift that naturally don't focus. I avoid lenses that don't focus unlike many here. I probably use an average of one lens every 19 days. I have at least one brand new lens that I never even mounted. IIRC it was a 28-135 kit lens in 2009 when they did not have the camera in stock.
Too many but I love them all! And I use them all — and if I don’t end up using them, I sell them. I like having a quiver and choose the right tools for the job. I’d say I mostly use the primes and my favorites are the Loxia and Voigtlander ones. I tend to use the GM’s for paid work and zooms for travel or work that requires working quickly and with a variety of different subject matter to capture.

Pretty bored today, eh? I don't see the value in anyone knowing or caring what I own. I don't care what you own as long as they help you make the images you want to create. Is more better? Will that make me a better photographer? Will you be running out and buying the same ones I have?

I don't know who you are asking, but this is a social forum for us to talk about gear, photography and all things related. If you don't see any value in this specific poll, you can simply ignore this and focus on other topics on this site, but I will take a stab at answering your questions.
Is more bertter?
Based on the poll data, Yes.
Will that make me a better phorographer?
No, but that's not what this poll was about.
Will you be running out and buying the same ones I have?
There is a pretty good chance of this happening. This is how I ended up with so many lenses in the first place.
