Replying to Nifty Fifty (I can’t quote, I don’t have the minimum post requirement yet):
Yeah, between 28 and 40mm is my sweet spot. I usually carry 2 different focal lengths when I’m out shooting (Ricoh GR and Sony). The 28 and 40 lenses are MF and the 35 & 50 are AF. I like matching them differently, it keeps the shooting experience fun. If I’m going out with only one camera, it has on it either a zoom or the 35.

Minolta MD 24/2.8 (does not adapt well to Sony or Fuji)
Not the stock sensors, no, but the Kolari UT mod helps it quite a bit and removing everything from on top the sensor gives it the same performance you get from monochrome film. Of course, on those cameras, even the MD W. Rokkor 24 is a gem.
I currently have 7 lenses, sold a few in recent years and acquired some new ones, finetuning my kit. Seems I'm still in the minority group
FE 20 F1.8, mainly used for the night sky
FE 20-70 F4 G, all purpose lens
FE 35 F2.8 Zeiss, compact lens when I want to travel very light with just one lens
My manual landscape lenses, when I want to limit to fixed focal length, manual focus and photograph very deliberate:
Loxia 25/2.4
Loxia 35/2
Loxia 50/2
Loxia 85/2.4
Short term Wislist:
FE 16 F1.8 G - UWA landscape lens incl. night sky
FE 70-200 F4 GII Macro - Telephoto landscape lens incl. close-up
New compact future FE 100-400 G if weight is sufficiently low, has good close focus diatance, and not too expensive

Geez, I feel like an outcast here lol. I have 2 lenses and only know of 2 more focal lengths that I would want
We want to know more about that now! 😄
I have a few more lenses floating around, but the ones I use regularly are:
7Artisans 18mm f/6.3 on an NEX-3n
It's a bad lens, but it is an old, low-resolution camera. The process of taking an image with it is tactile and satisfying and I think I'll get some keepers out of it just because this combination really can go in a pocket. I've taken it with me everywhere over the past week since getting the lens.
Samyang 35mm f/2.8 (mainly use it on the NEX-3n as well)
I hate this lens on full frame. It has no personality and is mediocre. But on APS-C I actually like it quite a bit. The center has better optical qualities and it pairs well with the small NEX. There are certainly better and smaller options made for APS-C.
Zeiss Planar 50mm f/1.4 on an A7II
Big, old, and utterly fantastic. I don't think any other AF 50mm for the mount has the same rendering as this, so while it isn't *the best* from a technical standpoint and is certainly outdated, I love it.
Tokina 20mm f/2 AF on an A7II
It is a lens I am emotionally attached to because it was a gift from my grandfather who has passed. It is solid and I use it quite a bit, but it is not the 20mm I would recommend to people. It is a bit larger than some alternatives, it is prone to some flare issues, the AF isn't as good as more modern options, and while it is sharp stopped down I do think that most of its competitors are as good or better. Still, if you find it for a bargain and need a 20mm I wouldn't hesitate to say go. It also has a bit of that 3D "pop" in the right lighting conditions because you can get some background separation at f/2.
I sold most of my equipment in graduate school, so I will slowly reaccumulate. The one I miss greatly is my Voigtlander 180mm f/4 (the prices have dropped back down to sane levels so I may reacquire one in the future). I also have a Canon FL 55mm f/1.2 gathering dust, and a Sony 16-50mm kit lens that I sometimes use on the NEX, but with the 7Artisans I don't think I'll take this out all that much.
I am going to be doing a lot of photography over winter break and will assess what seems to be missing after that. Honestly, my highest priority will likely be a new camera so that I finally have something with modern autofocus. I've only had a Rebel XT, NEX-5, NEX-3n, and A7II, so every time I pick up a modern camera I am naturally shocked by ... how good autofocus can be.
I have almost as much camera bodies (ten bodies) as the lenses. I use at least 7 camera bodies every Saturday 6 months out of the year as a hobbyist. Now that I have this list, I need to see a therapist.
