It's a little funny seeing Sony playing Apple during this reveal, with a milquetoast crowd clapping for basic features that other brand cameras have had for YEARS.

5.6x the A7RV.....I don't know what the A7RV was but I think it was very slow and this will not be close to A1II readout.

I think it was maybe 1/15s....so maybe 1/84s or so?? A1II is 1/260.

99.3ms/5.6 = 17.7ms, worse than A7V, way worse than R5II.

Yeah...you could see some wonky wings in the photos they showed in the presentation.

5.6x faster sensor. How slow was the A7RV?

Slow enough that I bought a used A1 and my RV has become my seldom used second camera.

So 11.9ms that’s a little disappointing.

Jim Klasson tested the A7RIV (Same sensor)

He found it varied depending on mode.

For AF-C in Comp RAW (which you need for 30FPS on the A7RVI) he got 1/20s or 50ms

So best case for A7RVI is probably 9ms or 1/112s

1/10= 100ms
100/5,6= 17,86ms

67ms is that in photomode or videomode on the A7RV

Sony makes major upgrade every two gen (~ 8 years). This camera is going to make most users very happy for a very long time.

Oh Boy. What a bummer. That rolling shutter is bad in Manny's video. Not much use for 30fps with rolling shutter that bad. Max shutter of 1/8000 is also not gonna cut it. Was pretty excited about this based on the rumors, but as always, there's no free lunch.

Phew. Glad I didn't sell my A7R5 for this. I don't see the $2,000 or more price difference.

DPR also writes that A7RV has 100,5ms

100,5/19,6= 5,12x faster

Sony claims 5,6x
